The First Oil Mist Filter I received did not work properly and I had oil everywhere. Alpine send me a new filter, and this filter does not spill out oil everywhere like the first one did but it still emits a terrible smell. We have another house on our Ranch, so I have put my freeze dryer over there because of the smell. This makes it much harder to watch the freeze dry and put new products in it. I was asked the other day by a friend who also wants a freeze dryer what I thought of Alpine. I told her that I loved the product that comes out of my dryer, but I hate the smell the pump puts out. I do not know if its health for us to breath the fumes that come out of the pump. I really think that Alpine should provide a pump that works properly and sustains a healthy environment, I am very disappointed.
