What makes us Different:

Here at Blue Alpine, we are serious about three things: freeze dryers, quality, and customer service. We have spent the last six years researching, engineering, and testing our freeze dryers to make them the highest quality possible.

Many small improvements add up to a massive difference in quality, and overall, a superior large machine.
  • These are Built In Idaho with the highest quality components.
  • Our refrigeration system uses Cubigel compressors, a trusted name brand with excellent quality and longevity.
  • More cooling capacity (double in our large model), which translates to faster batches (twice as fast as competitors with the large model).
  • A circulating fan inside the chamber blast-freezes the food, creating better quality food and faster freeze times.
  • A P100 filter inside the chamber protects your vacuum pump from particulates, increasing the lifespan of the vacuum pump.
  • Smart software utilizes PID control technology and solid-state relays to freeze-dry your food accurately.
  • We use a natural refrigerant (R1270) that is future-proof, unlike R404 or R410 which will both be discontinued soon.
  • On our machine, all vacuum fittings are barbed fittings. We do not use crimped fittings which are prone to vacuum leaks.
  • We use a gasket material to seal all threads. We do not use Teflon Tape which is also leak-prone.
  • The frame of our machines is made with extruded aluminum and is incredibly durable.
  • Recipes built into the software allow you to optimize your freeze-drying cycles. Candy, for example, can get done in about 2 hours. Fruit, on the other hand, takes about 10-18 hours depending on the load.

I love my Forest Green Blue Alpine

My Blue Alpine was delivered only one week after I placed my order. It was well packaged but easy for me to manage. Set up was easy once I found someone to help me lift it. I love how user friendly the unit is with all the pre-programmed recipes. My only complaints are that it's kind of loud and the shelves in the heating rack are short making it difficult to pull the trays out.

Family Affair on the farm

We received our freeze dryer a little over a week ago and I think it has been running ever since. The first weekend our son and his family did candy all weekend. vegetables and pickles went in before they left on Sunday. We have sliced potatoes, and hash browns going now. We are excited to see how they come out.
Very easy to operate and we are already thinking maybe we need another before summer harvest. We have to get what we want finished before the weekend. Kids and grandkids will be back this weekend to play more.
