What makes us Different:

Here at Blue Alpine, we are serious about three things: freeze dryers, quality, and customer service. We have spent the last six years researching, engineering, and testing our freeze dryers to make them the highest quality possible.

Many small improvements add up to a massive difference in quality, and overall, a superior large machine.
  • These are Built In Idaho with the highest quality components.
  • Our refrigeration system uses Cubigel compressors, a trusted name brand with excellent quality and longevity.
  • More cooling capacity, which translates to faster batches (twice as fast as competitors with the large model).
  • A circulating fan inside the chamber blast-freezes the food, creating better quality food and faster freeze times.
  • A P100 filter inside the chamber protects your vacuum pump from particulates, increasing the lifespan of the vacuum pump.
  • Smart software utilizes PID control technology and solid-state relays to freeze-dry your food accurately.
  • We use a natural refrigerant (R1270) that is future-proof, unlike R404 or R410 which will both be discontinued soon.
  • On our machine, all vacuum fittings are barbed fittings. We do not use crimped fittings, which are prone to vacuum leaks.
  • We use a gasket material to seal all threads. We do not use Teflon Tape, which is also leak-prone.
  • The frame of our machines is made with extruded aluminum and is incredibly durable.
  • Recipes built into the software allow you to optimize your freeze-drying cycles. Candy, for example, can get done in about 2 hours. Fruit, on the other hand, takes about 10-18 hours, depending on the load.

We are in love

We are still learning since it’s all new, but I can say we LOVE this thing!!!!! We did some candy skittles, nerd clusters, hi chew, fruit roll up, strawberries, and peaches. So much more we want to do. We are beyond happy with Blue Alpine and know that we made the best choice going with them. I’ll have some videos to post, lol wanted to get used to the process first. It’s has been so easy to use. Blue Alpine has been great to work with from ordering to communication to receiving and using it every experience has been excellent!

Love, love, love so far!!

I have only had my freeze dryer up and running for 3 days. I have ran two loads of candy so far and it has been so amazing. The only complaint I have is that the heating tray that the trays slide into are very narrow but I’m assuming it is so you don’t overload the trays but the candy can’t puff up as well as I was thinking. But if that is the only complaint I have at this point I am happy. I’m so excited to try everything I can think of to put in this fantastic machine. Customer service has been outstanding and answered all my questions before I purchased. As of right now I would highly recommend.
